Visited Tenby in South Wales for the first time (such a lovely place) and got treated to a proper moody sunset before the rain set in.
Taken on the iPhone 14 Pro – constantly impressed with the quality of the photos on this thing!
So, I'm finding out the hard way that if you start a new Mastodon server, nobody can find you.
This is a shameless request for some boosts so some of the bigger instances see me.

The pot pictured below is one of my favourite pit fired pieces of pottery. .
Pit firing is the original method for firing clay pots and dates back 30,000 years. Colouration comes from combustible materials that are burned. As these materials burn, vapours are released. Hot pots, still porous take the colour.
I do a pit firing once a year and I love feeling connected to the dawn of my chosen craft.

Part of what inspires my work is a deep connection with the wonders of nature and this amazing world we live on.
Working with the earth, literally, through clay, deepens my connection, wonder and peace with this interconnectedness.
We are one with the Earth, so let's take good care of it, and each other.

When Harry Met Sally is such a brilliant movie for its writing. Beautiful comedic value. Absolute classic.
The scene with Meg Ryan and the “fake orgasm” in the cafe never, ever gets old. 33 years later and it’s still a solid laugh every time you see it. You know what’s coming, but you laugh.
And it’s one of the all-time great scene “buttons” — that one-liner that caps a great scene so you transition to a new set piece:
“I’ll have what she’s having.”
There’s something special about #autumn for a #photographer. The excitement builds all year knowing that for 1 or 2 weekends a year, if the weather conditions hold out, you will get to capture #nature showing off her skills. If you’re lucky enough to be traveling to a #NationalPark at this time of year, it’s overwhelmingly exhilarating.
This is Ox Bow Bend at Grand Teton National Park and I was fortunate enough to be standing there at the right time.
This skull-shaped tomb decoration was recovered from the war-damaged (now demolished) church of St Lawrence in Exeter. The skull was accompanied by crossed bones which can be seen on either side of the skull just below the eye sockets. The teeth of the skull are still just about visible. c16th-17th century #MementoMori #church #histodons #history #ChurchHistory #16thcentury #17thcentury #skull
#Violet got her wish of everyone staying home, but she doesn't understand why we got out of bed. #DogsOfMastodon
Went a little psychedelic with our buche de Noel this year. The meringue mushrooms look like an invading army. #yulelog #christmas #baking
Like Malcolm X, Nina Simone was a passionate activist and dedicated to the Black liberation struggle. She posed in this photo very intentionally as an homage to Malcolm. 🖤🙏🏿 #BlackFriday #BlackMastodon #Mastodon
