@seeingwithsound This is very promising! Blind V1 has cross-modal plasticity that allows auditory signals to go through. I presume the training then is to allow those inputs to be properly interpreted. Very exciting 
@hkl Training is the key to everything. This year I have embarked on training myself, because progress from crowd-sourcing proved too slow, and unlike Elon Musk I want my promises to be thorough, honest, and lived-through. It is a joy to work with with beautiful people doing beautiful things.
