Today's #Covid19Cymru figures are in line with expectations. Despite sounding bad at 36 (the second highest daily total), they represent a slight lowering in the rate of increase when averaged over three days (13.9%, 14%, 14.1%, 12.8%), and the total now, at 351, is therefore slightly under the projected 360.
Are we peaking now? I hope so, and most of the information says we should be (see my other discussions on this topic). But the Wales data do not show this conclusively yet.

As Himalayas Warm, Nepal’s Climate Migrants Struggle to Survive

In the village of Dhye, #crops are stubby, dead stalks. #Water is scarce. The only #school closed a few years ago. With dwindling #food, most families have packed their belongings and left, driven out by a faceless, man-made enemy.
They are Nepal’s #climatechange migrants, and there will be more.

Today's #Covid19UK figures:
Deaths today: 441
Total to date: 5373
For my discussion, see yesterday's comments, with increased emphasis.
However, I would note that today's figures are unexpectedly low, and I would not be surprised to see something of a correction tomorrow.

I'm probably going to hell.
I can't help thinking happy thoughts whenever I read about one of my politicians getting the virus.
Then I feel guilty.
But then the next RSS feed will have a similar headline and I'll feel all happy again.
Then I feel guilty...
ICU now eh? Too bad.
See? Guilty again.
