@freemo Since many chips are leveraging quantum effects now...you're saying quantum mechanics is the assembly language of assembly language. And if the hidden variables hypothesis is true, there's assembly for QM! By induction we claim it's turtles all the way down; this is left as an exercise for the reader.

For ages, I didn’t know why this date was chosen to be the transition from one tax year to the next but it turns out the reason is that it’s from the old ecclesiastical #calendar with an adjustment made from the old style (Julian) to the new style (Gregprian) calendar.
