I posted earlier about a nest built by a pair of Welcome swallows in a gazebo I pass on the way to my wilderness garden.

Recently I cleaned up the mess below the nest and when I observed no new mess I assumed that the nest was abandoned. However I got a rude shock when I put my hand into the nest and pulled out a very small but living nestling! I hastily put it back and avoided going near the nest again.

More recent photos show lots of activity in the nest and I believe a successful brood.

Last night I had a baked filet of sockeye salmon with scalloped potatoes covered in extra-old cheddar and a few veg.
Only a couple of whole salmon left in the freezer... No trout, rockfish or halibut either!!! Panic city!

Our Story | Radical Tea Towel radicalteatowel.co.uk/about

The Bible-reading Welsh took their cue from words in Genesis: "And they blessed Rebekah, and said unto her Thou art our sister be thou the mother of thousands of millions, and let thy seed possess the gate of those which hate them"

The riots took place over the period 1839-1843 and led to some reduction in rents and toll-gate charges. They also left their mark on the Welsh psyche and are considered to have inspired other uprisings since

Today's #Covid19Cymru figures show cases continuing to rise at an alarming rate. I hear that @FmWales @VaughanGething are meeting to decide what to do. Doing nothing is not an option; this is serious. We can't go into Christmas like this.
7-day average: 1720 - UP 71

The trend continues upwards in #Ceredigion, 21 new cases seeing the 7-day average rising above 20 for the first time. Now 20.71 - UP 1.42.

The only good news here is that R is down. That's more likely to be due to recent irregularities in reporting, which have made the 7-day averages unstable, than any real effect. In any case, an R of around 1.3 is way too high, and suggests something has gone seriously wrong.
R (estimate): 1.27 - DOWN 0.08

There were 33 deaths recorded today. That puts the 7-day average at 21.57 - UP 1.29. I am afraid we are going to see an increase in deaths over the next couple of weeks.

"Spotify resets passwords after a security bug exposed users’ private account information"

In a data breach notification ... the music streaming giant said the data exposed “may have included email address, your preferred display name, *PASSWORD*, gender, and date of birth only to certain business partners of Spotify.”

Wait, wat?! Passwords?
