It’s a bummer that #qoto is being blocked by #hachyderm, a friend just moved to that instance a few days ago. 
@trinsec I have no plans to move, and I’m sure they don’t either. I guess there’s nothing to do but accept the situation. Unfortunately, it appears that the members of qoto have been reamed by the nazis.

@imabuddha Please share with your friend this writeup and encourage them to reach out to the admin... chances are the admin is acting on a misinformation campaign by a known Nazi and may chance their mind once they know the facts.

@freemo I sent them the link, perhaps that will help. I know you’ve been fighting the good fight for a long time, and this recent mess is none of your fault. Hopefully not too many other large instances are going to block us.
@imabuddha So far the number of large instances that block us are rather minimal.. but it could snowball if we dont get this info out there.
@freemo is there some way of finding out who is blocking who without visiting every individual instance’s about page?
@imabuddha t because the list was created by a tool written by a kiwifarms user it would be considered quite bad to share or promote that tool.

This is a lot for reaching out to other instances on a one time basis to ask if we could be unblocked by servers.

I'm afraid you'll have to discuss with your friend how to tackle this problem. Maybe a 2nd account, maybe one of you or both move. Maybe just accept as is. Whatever the choice will be, I wish you luck with it!
