Everytime a publication chooses an ai-generated image for their articles, I immediately see it as throw-away content and don’t read it. How can you neglect your own writing that much?

@christowski I've seen AI-generated images used in articles where there really isn't an informative image to use (say it's about a software vulnerability) and the image is really just decorative anyway. While you might take issue with the use of generative AI generically, in cases like this I don't think it's reasonable to say it degrades the journalism.
