People say you shouldn't cook with hot water from your tap, because there's mineral buildup or whatever in your water heater... but if minerals are collecting in the heater, it must be taking them from the water, therefore that water should be cleaner??
So yeah, I'm gonna keep saving 15 seconds of time it takes to boil water

@jsstaedtler this actually comes from back when lead pipes where a thing.
The hot water would cause increased lead leaching.
