I love preprints & initiatives like PsyArxiv etc but could we all agree to give the papers we upload clear file names? Am assuming most download the preprint and end up having lots of files called things like FacePaperV4.pdf, paper_final.pdf, done.pdf, which whilst funny are a nightmare to filter. What if we all agreed “LeadAuthor_title_version.pdf”? Just think how better that would make our download folders! And now, back to renaming files!
