Does anyone have recommendations for an eink e-reader, that's easy to load epubs and pdfs into?

Bonus: also supports connecting to alternative ebook sources directly?

(Has to be e-ink, otherwise I might as well read in a browser)

I have a Kobo, and it is great. You don't even need any software; you can copy files directly as you would do on a USB drive. EPUB support is really great. For PDFs you better get a big screen; panning on e-ink devices is unbearable. Calibre is not required, but it helps if you have
a big library.

Mine has wifi for Wikipedia and a real web browser, but browser and e-ink is not a good match. It's useful for quick searchs only. It has Pocket support, which works really nice for reading long web articles.
