Given Elron Mubbard's latest nonsense (calling for the prosecution of Fauci), at what point does it become unethical to remain on Twitter?

I'm not sure. So I have just blocked that domain in my hosts file, the same as I did years ago with Facebook.
Out of reach, temptation avoided.

@jgg @Richard_Littler 👏But... You need to do more than that. FB tracks what websites you visit and purchases data about you from 3rd parties even if you never log in. You can limit the surveillance with browser plugins* but it's going to take regulatory change to deal with it properly.

*even if you don't click a FB "Like" button by default it reports tracking data, so needs to be actively blocked. Most are sadly oblivious, or worse, indifferent.

What I get for sure is to avoid following links to them.
True, I can't avoid giving them any money at all. But I can reduce that amount, and avoid seeing their logo in many places. Especially, when I disable Javascript, which may break most sites, but breaks many paywalls, makes dissapear most ads, and their most obvious tracking methods (most ostensibily, Google Analytics doesn't work at all).

@jgg @Richard_Littler A Pihole (free software running on a raspberry pi or similar) is a great complement to browser plugins. It's not your money they want. They can earn enough by reselling data, including a reported c. 4,000 data points on each person, even those without accounts.
