So I installed GNOME Web on my Haiku system and now I can enjoy the system running out of memory and completely freezing because I have open 9 webpages, just like on Linux 😍

(ok I was also compiling WebKit in the background, but I have done that a lot in the past and it never ended that way)

@pulkomandy
Never really used GNOME Web, but I have used a variety of browsers in Ubuntu for years with dozens of tabs opened, with no trouble at all. Only 8GB of RAM.

Most likely, the cause is a severelly underpowered machine.

@jgg my machine is less than one year old and has 16GB of RAM. I think that's not the problem. Have you tried compiling WebKit (or Yocto, or other big software projects) on all your CPU cores while you browse the web?

Ok, you are right 😅 . I have never gone so far, but had trouble enough compiling NPM dependencies in an old hard disk on Windows. I'm suprised you got to 9.
