Don't surprised Apple is just loading Tencent's (read: the CCP's) blocklist for Safari's safe browsing feature. Apple is the CCP's biggest ally in the west, and Tim Cook grovels and begs for his Chinese masters.
Apple is compromised. If you want to ban TikTok for being owned by the CCP, you should also want to ban Apple products.

I don't think Apple would be able to build a simple mouse without the Chinese.
But Google cooperates with them too.
What's the right move? Buy a Pinephone? That's not an option for many people. Whatsapp, iMessage, and corporate apps make really hard to avoid GAFA.
