The CEO of any company that makes a consumer product should be required the unpack and assemble it with no help from others. CEOs of consumer software companies should be require to install, uninstall and upgrade anything they make.

Years ago ScottGu became head of Azure. He brought all the cloud bigwigs into an all-day meeting, gave them prepaid Visas to create Azure accounts with and told them to sign up and build something, end to end. The success rate—at the time—was low.
