Looking up "Drupal" and "Notion" and I'm finding how to integrate with the Notion API and I'm like you don't understand I didn't want to work with Notion I wanted to reimplement Notion.

Because PHP will be here long after every language you love is dead.

PHP will be alive and well as long as long as Worpress remain the most deployed CMS, and the vast majority of the cheapest hosting solutions offer PHP instead (or more easily) than other options. The fact that deploying PHP is extremely simple is key, too. People with very low budget usually can't allow themselves the alternatives.
