There is no chance in hell that an organization that promotes cryptocurrencies or attacks the better tested vaccines ever made is going to make the world a better place. Quite the opposite.
When everybody has to push a car, and someone is not in the mood, you can argue with him, or push harder, and let him on the road.
Can we ship all this 'wealth creators' to Pluto to begin with?
Totally agree. The change from HBO to HBO Max was terrible, at least in Spain: they removed a half of the content, there were a lot of software and server errors, many shows were displayed in listings with a generic icon (so you had to click in them to know what they were), and content was uploaded in a very sloppy way. The most egregious case was Supernatural: they only had a random episode of a random season of a show with more than ten seasons.
The fact that they think this new rebranding is a good idea proves they are totally clueless. Let's hope they don't make a total mess this time.
Don't forget other people's libraries of reusable CSS files, with tons of very clever selectors and lots of important rules, smashing all the defaults, imposed to you, that you can't modify, and which never fully get along with the design you are supposed to tightly follow.
You should paint all those empty squares using a for loop. And create an external caching system, since most of squares will not change on each turn. That would speed up development. And have a class hierarchy, with a base Piece class, which all other piece classes inherit, and then make each piece an instance of one of the derived classes.
ChatGPT can help with all of that.
¡Soborno!
Free software community has outgrown FSF, making it nearly obsolete.
That's what usually happens when someone starts to advocate something new and has a wild success: it gets mainstream, adopting an unexpected shape that can adapt to most of people needs and desires. And then the founder may as well retire. His work is done.
Or he may adapt to the new shape. But it is his choice. We are tremendously grateful anyway. He earned it.
foros, fediverso... Que ya hay gente tanteando.
Si quisiera leer a ChatGPT, leería a ChatGPT.
My experience is nearly all in the public sector. Nearly all projects are based on talking with the client, analyzing their workflow, and translate that into software. They are never aware of most of their workflow; for them, it is something so obvious they don't even know it is there. And the only way of discover some details is coding what they say and see it fail. Sometimes, they even deny they do something, only to become aware how wrong they are when they see it as software.
To be fair, the most unaware of their own processes are usually the most brilliant of them. The dumb ones usually have very simple workflows.
I guess you can't have very complex things in your head if you don't get your subconscious to do most of the work.
Every online merchant should pay 1€ to you for each commercial email sent.
Sexo y muerte. Eso siempre vende. Y si no mira Spartacus, Vikingos...
Did they really think that the E.U. sees Ireland as a insignificant country? Not that we like at all their tax practices, but the whole point of the EU is to help each other (in a deeper sense than NATO does). If the UK is not in the EU, all of the power of the EU goes with Ireland in any kind of conflict with the UK, as much as it is not detrimental of the whole EU. And the EU is bigger and more powerful than all of the UK. That was obvious. How could they be so blind?
