This is what I see in the Tesla logo, and cannot unsee:

@danhon

The Necronomicon is a computer programming manual. Everything makes sense now.

@davew

And rich, and successful.

In fact, as an entrepeneur, she is much more successful than Trump. And much younger.

@jensimmons

I agree, but, since most of pages still don't offer alternate text or most of other accesibility features, I'm not optimistic.

Vivaldi (sorry) has a feature that allows the user to invert all colors in a page (it seems to apply a filter:invert to the whole page).

It is hackish, but it can be really helpful when Read Mode is not an option.

It should be really easy to emulate in a bookmarlet or extension.

Estad siempre atentos.

Boy's lesson: don't tell lies.

Cassandra's lesson: if a powerful man wants to have sex with you, say yes.

I think we are doing the right thing, thank you.

Cero lloros.

@ZachWeinersmith

It's a bit old, but you may like this one: books.google.es/books/about/Th

Eduardo Punset was a Spanish science popularizer, who wrote a lot of books about neuroscience.

He was a socialist science minister before that. A bit of trivia that has nothing to do with his books, of course.

@V4N4D1S

Terrible idea. I hope it is a joke.

I hate voice notes in messaging apps so much I usually ignore them. No way I am going to allow that kind of shit in my code. If you put that in, you can be sure I will simply delete it, and commit.

@Rjdlandscapes @thomasfuchs

Fusion power and quantum computers will come sooner or later. 20 years? 50? No idea.

Medicine is really hard to predict. But I have high hopes for many kinds of cancer. Communicable diseases are so many and so diverse the only panacea here is to live in a bubble.

Starvation is a political issue nowadays.

Ubiquitous human space flight, in the Jetsons sense, has always been a nonsense, even speaking theoretically. We don't even have a theory of how to do that without being outrageously expensive. We weren't able to make the Concorde commercially viable, for God's sake. And living in a Mars or a space station, no matter how much money you throw at it, would be even worse than living in Antarctica. How many people would really want to do that?

@adrianhon

Reminds me all the threads when Facebook bought Whatsapp wondering why would they waste so much money in an app 'nobody uses'.

Pure navel gazing.

@bryan

Sounds like someone made something really wrong.

For that kind of applications, a correct use of JS yields (after first load!) a faster and more responsive user experience than pure HTML. The improvement can be 10x, easily.

But JS is a very powerful tool, and it can make a lot of damage if not used properly. And in-house tools are frequently made by unexperienced people who doesn't know what they are doing. Tragic, but true.

@espanabizarra

"El que mejor sabe cómo funciona lo mío soy yo, así que dejadme hacer lo que me dé la gana".

Otro anarcocapitalista.

@cory

Apple being Apple.

I've never owned an Apple device. They put too many restrictions, and I don't find their UX better than others.

Who knows. If the EU continues forcing them to be more open, maybe someday I will find iOS as a viable option for me.

@Anvazher @the_heruman
