@josemanuel@freemo I find an increasing number of users would not care if an instance actually defederated mastodon.social. We limited mastodon.social also for a while and nobody actually cared.
Since their operator sees us mid-sized instances as a historical issue anyway, we shouldn't bother to much any more.
