I like the modern Zelda lore of Gorons just, appearing. Like, in BOTW/TOTK sometime a random rock just gains sentience one day and becomes a Goron.

@josemanuel I think it's only mentioned in TOTK. They also have a specific notion of "family", as in people born from the same place are considered family but since they don't reproduce it's a bit of a different concept I guess.
