@peter Part of my heart will always belong to Debian (still have this book lurking somewhere in the house), but I recall Arch being better at satisfying my preference for having the latest & greatest of key apps without breaking the entire system, except when it *did* break the entire system, which is why I ended up using Fedora before deep-sixing Linux entirely, um, not sure this sentence ended up where I was intending but still
