Many astronomers are now looking at the #ESO website to see if they have received observing time for their proposals. I'm happy to say we've got 45 hours to continue to search for directly imaged gas giant exoplanets, and to characterize one of our discoveries!
It's a bit like Christmas. But with less Brussels sprouts and more liquid nitrogen cooled cameras.
