Confession: Though C was one of the first languages I learned, pointers have never been intuitive for me and even though I understand them in concept, it's a major reason why I generally prefer #Python over C, #Rust, and #golang since I don't have to constantly think about them and can focus on the logic. #programming

@vwbusguy Curious do you remember when you started out in how did you feel about the value/object difference? When I used to tutor Python or Java that was a common struggle among students first learning about function.

@kemuri I found it very intuitive, but I started with #BASIC and C and #python is essentially based on those two languages to begin with.
