i seem to have found a strange new place… i plan to keep my profiles on more conventional servers, but this one looks interesting…
My #pronouns are … "We should call EVERYONE #they and #them until we get to know them?"
And I mean everyone! NOT just when you're "not sure". Partly because you can never actually be sure, but also because (to me) it feels weird to try to guess strangers' genders?
If "they" is genuinely ambiguous (e.g. when referring an individual and a group) that's what names are for.
So call me "they" or "them" - or preferably "Kirt" - until you know me well enough to know when to call me something else.
What is the difference between all the different types of follow and subscribe and notifications?
