Being a woman in STEM

Today was exhausting.

I asked someone to run a test on some data for me and the response was to assume I didn't know what I was talking about. This is not the first time this person has done this, they are constantly speaking down to me about science. I see how they treat colleagues that are men, and it's completely different from how they treat women.

So anyways, I'm looking for more #WomenInSTEM to connect with here! 🔭🧑‍🔬

@_astronoMay Can't you report them ?

@JohnnyD

Unfortunately there isn't a way to really report people for things like this. It's not harassment, it's just someone being an asshole. Personally I just stop collaborating with people who treat me this way, but for now I have to get through this project 😣

@_astronoMay @JohnnyD I hear you. I use the same strategy. Sorry you have to go through this!
