@frogsquisher sorry about the delayed response- got covid after the American epilepsy society meeting! Yes my lab focuses on the role of inflammation in contributing to hyperexcitable circuits in infection-induced epilepsy- also we collaborate with the #NINDS and serve as the contract site for the Epilepsy Therapy Screening Program (#ETSP).
@kswilcox sorry you got COVID! That meeting looked amazing, been following birdsite commentary from afar. #inflammation in #epilepsy is a hot topic, very cool. My adult son has a #DEE and we always felt a good infection with fever caused a temporary relief from #seizures. Almost a reset.
