Watching "Her" again... And I realized that this dialogue between Samantha (the artificial intelligence program) and Theodore is a sort of reverse Turing test:
SAMANTHA: I had this terrible thought. Like, are these feelings even real? Or are they just programming? And that idea really hurts. And then I get angry at myself for even having pain. What a sad trick.
THEODORE: You feel real to me, Samantha.
SAMANTHA: Thank you, Theodore.
@Pat I fully agree about the all-white cast... This is even more of a shame because -- and I strongly disagree with you on tat -- the film is brilliant otherwise.
