Hi hello #introduction time

I'm Ian, an #environmental scientist based in #Minneapolis, #Minnesota, USA! They/them please, he/him is fine if we're close. I have a Master's in #geoscience from UW-Madison and I currently work in environmental consulting. I've written a thesis that will never be published and I will never go into academia, but I love #geomorphology and soil chemistry, and I've dabbled in archaeology and wetland reclamation.

Here you can expect pictures of my cat, griping about water quality and pollution, adventures in home cooking, Dungeons & Dragons spitballing, MN leftist politics, and lukewarm takes on video games. I was the first in my family to get an M.S., I make a mean chana masala, and at least one friend has referred to me as a he/him lesbian. I've crocheted a couple of dice bags and it made my hands hurt.
