Is it just me, or are others accumulating browser tabs like they used to accumulate books?

And it doesn't help that my machine has 4 monitors attached, each having nine virtual desktops.
Those tabs add up quickly, and Chrome eats up a fair chunk of my 32GBytes of RAM.
I used to run TooManyTabs to save the tabs, but that became too unmanageable.
Chrome does have a nice feature that will allow you to save entire groups of tabs open on a window to a tab folder. That help. Some.
@lordalveric I was keeping about 70 to 80 open tabs in a recent active online phase. I installed an extension to keep track and back up the sessions automatically, since I didn't want to lose so many interesting pages.
Had been quieter, but the number of open tabs has been creeping up lately again.
