I worked into the night and had a #fedex delivery scheduled for my #purism #librem11 in the morning FML, so I lay on the couch near the front door, get up see the truck chill at my driveway a while and then bail.
It's like do people not know how to knock on doors anymore? Were they here but the slight of hand was like a mouse? I'm not really sure.
(As I write this I see a second FedEx truck drive by)
So now I get to wait to see if they send me some "oops" email.
Still not as bad as #lowes where I had to wait 4 separate days and on the one day the air was 200 pollution and the 2:00pm delivery finally arrived at 9:00pm
#deliveryhell is real. I wish I could buy some kind of giant mail box and not spend a day waiting when I have important business to take care of. /vent

@ThatFunnyPants the feeling of relief when you get away from a stressful job or client is mind blowing. I know people who have worked at the different companies and props to them, the daily grind is character building and teaches you work stamina. I think the business models have room for improvement and should do a better job handling not burning out employees. But most businesses prefer short term gains over long term planning IMO.
Sorry for probably making you shiver with my story 😵😵💫😂
I burned out waiting for Lowes in my car maybe 16 hours this month so I am 50% grump :P
Yesterday #fedex delivered this kicked in box. It contained glassware. smh.
