Two things that occurred to me while listening to a discussion about electric cars: 1. Installing charging infrastructure in cities might be a great opportunity to get rid of on-street parking. 2. When most of your trips are 2-10mi, an eBike will do the job well. Maybe even use a car share or rent for long trips.
@lorihc I'd say 20-30km is also good enough to bike. There are people doing that daily around here. Ebike would make that even easier. There are ebike-highways around here.
