Burning question 🔥
Which one is “right?” And why?
@mikaelacaron
Sign In/Out, but only because the alternative always confuses me as a non-native English speaker
e.g. do I write “Log In" or “Login" or “Logon”?
@lazyvar this is a good point! ☝️
I’ve definitely used “Log In” “login” interchangeably, and I don’t even know which is right
@mikaelacaron @lazyvar Log In is a directive. Login is a noun. :-)
@lorihc @mikaelacaron
That makes sense, now I’m left wondering if we’re supposed to offer up directives, nouns or verbs
Never thought about it so deeply because often they’re the same word 😅
I’m sure the HIG describe a best practice around this
