@lorihc It looks like the new structured logging (OSLog) doesn't work on device for watchOS apps (works fine in the Simulator).
I'm guessing this is a known issue, but I can't find anything in the release notes. FB13017925
@chockenberry Logging is turned off on customer builds of watchOS unless you have a logging profile installed (this is why we often ask developers to install sysdiagnose—or sometimes more specific—profiles when filing feedback for watchOS).
@chockenberry @lorihc We should put it in the log(1) man page that way someone else can say that it needs to be documented somewhere.

@timtr @chockenberry @lorihc what if Console dot app, when you select a watch without the profile installed, had a “This device needs a profile to show additional log messages” banner at the top?

@lorihc @chockenberry One to make oslog in apps under development by third party devs work on watchOS devices. Perhaps I misunderstood the issue under discussion; apologies if so.
@GeekAndDad @chockenberry I would expect that to work with the sysdiagnose profile. If you don’t see your oslogs when that profile is installed, it be helpful to know.
