Watching The Last Jedi for the first time just to get it out of the way.
Please tell me they sell Snoke's golden bathrobe as merch because I would SO buy that
Yeah I didn't like it. It's flawed, far too long, narratively boring. Luke's storyline is really the only one with emotional weight, and I didn't even find that very compelling outside a couple of conversations.
There's more I can say, but all of it's been said before.
Granted, while I'm one of those people mad at Disney nuking the EU, I don't think this is a better replacement. It's different and it's new, but ehhh this trilogy blows.
The new movies/shows/games are far more interesting stories than this sequel trilogy.
(By new movies, I mean Solo and Rogue One).
At this point I don't even want to watch TROS. I know it's a massive clusterfuck and cancels out everything this movie tried to set up.
If I do watch it, it'll be as far from sober as I can get.
@timecrash the only movies I've liked is solo and the mandalorian. And the mandalorian is solo far away from the lore- it would be better retitled as something else.
