Nothing quite like blowing up your own vehicle pre-death to make sure the enemy team can't use it :))))))
Go ahead call the Office of Naval Intelligence whorebasket

They can't unscuttle that Scorpion tank BITCH
Ok guys is it unsportsmanlike to scuttle a vehicle so that the enemy team can't get it? I want your guys' opinions

@lebronjames75 Since this got boosted so much, here's a quick reference. Again, this is a common tactic used even today.

@lucifargundam @chj0 @lebronjames75 on the flipside, (in games) I try to hijack enemy vehicles when possible

doesn't always work but it's always fun to turn their tanks on them. I'll take a look at that article

@denza252 @lebronjames75 @chj0
In games, if I find out that the enemy has a particular vehicle that is specifically weak against my current weapon- i go out of my way to damage it as close to 1% as possible without destroying it so that it doesn't respawn with 100%. If you overburden yourself with heavy arms and try to 'manage' vehicles at the same time, you'll have a harder time trying to win. It's better to let the enemy hold onto a crippled leg than to overburden yourself and become vulnerable to attack. If you die while holding onto so much firepower- that becomes the enemies firepower and you just made them stronger than you will be when you respawn. Hence, its best to fight as minimally as possible with a select few weapons/vehicles.

@lucifargundam @lebronjames75 @chj0 In Halo Reach, if you're careful you can blow up the main turret of the Scorpion Tank, rendering it pretty much a big, almost defenseless (it still has a secondary machine gun that's manned by a separate player (or NPC, if in singleplayer)) target. And unless it's totally wrecked a new Scorpion doesn't spawn in.
