Tonight, possibly, on @lynne:

Sparks!
Hot molten metals!
Unscheduled magic smoke release!
Programming!
Lights!
Name calling!
Action!
Unfinished project shelving!
And more!

Not 5 minutes in. Already making do with what I have for what I don’t. No leftover wires from through-hole components to socket this.

This is indeed a keyboard. Now, can you guess which keyboard?

FYI there can be a large difference between the stiffness of cable ties. Some are soft and pliable, others are like nails.
It's the kind that are like nails that I want. I'm glad I kept all those cable ties.

The world of cable ties is vast and wide indeed.
My soldering is anywhere from kinda bad to meh to okay.
What can I do, I've never used a temperature controlled iron. It shut off a few times mid-solder.
One MCU done. I think I'll do the other MCU now, because it's so incredibly tedious.
I can't solder through-hole for shit. Or at least not this kind of through-hole soldering to leads that may or may not be some weird coating onto aluminium.
At least soldering SMD diodes is simple and fun.
Lost a diode. Just shot off into the aether once I gently picked it up with my tweezers.
I lose one or two more, and there goes another week waiting for parts to arrive.
Forget comfy soldering.

Been there too many times. Hopefully it's not over carpet. I learned that the hard way.
