old mechanical pencil broke, so I got a new one made by pilot. it came pre-loaded with their leads and apparently which leads you use has a noticeable impact on contrast, mind blown
@rin I've been using Zebra and haven't had any problems outside of running out of eraser. I used to use thick pilot ballpoint pens because they would reliably write each time no matter how dirty they got.
Ever since I was a kid though- I leave secret messages inside pens.
