@josemanuel
People are stupid and will likely remain so. People usually only ever change if forced to- they're pretty arrogant/stubborn that way. It'd be a good idea to try and flex some mental/emotional dexterity.

I normally buy these for when I'm on-the-go and can't depend on my insulated water bottle.

@freemo
I wouldn't buy water for $8. Maybe a mixed drink with decent liquor in it... Not a fan of kombucha however. I like boba tea though!

@w84death
Visually reminds me of a cube mp3 player I had once... It was cool in aesthetic, but lacking everywhere else.

I hate most stores apps and even most mobile sites. Mobile sites like for Lowes.com and homedepot.com are utter garbage in my experience. I've had better experience using desktop version and even then- it's often dependant on JS or some annoying widget.

@olamundo @freemo
To the people of QOTO.org (and anyone else who can help):

Can you suggest me good search tools for scientific articles?
I often want to cite a post I've read but don't find with common search engines (Qwant, SearX, etc).

I want to find, for example, some publications by Nature© that point to devastation as a great risk of causing future pandemics.

I also always end up needing serious articles that disprove the use of Hydroxchloroquine as a treatment for Covid. (I should have already created a file with references, seeing how often they are needed)

Thanks in advance!

@Maryam
ah, that is helpful information! unfortunately, i am unfamiliar with native flora and what the regulated imports are for Germany. I would be embarrassed to suggest growing a plant that is considered invasive- for example.

@Maryam @sexybiggetje@mastodon.social
1) I'm not judging you
2) I was a bit confused as to why you were ordering from a .de Amazon instead of a .com
3) have you tried clicking on a url within translate.google.com ?
4) my only other suggestion (though possibly sub-par), would be to buy a "chia pet". Sorry!

@hackaday@botsin.space
I thought it was remote-control chess via webcam... :( now there's something I have to make...

@Maryam
There's a big difference between WW2 and what came after. It's important to understand the contex, intent and consequences of each in order not to fall into the fatigue of doldrum disillusionment.
