checks and balances aren’t working. we have radically unbalanced representation because the checks, the #courts and particularly #scotus, have started making irrational decisions.

from what I remember, the only reason #gerrymandering had not been curbed by #scotus was because there was not a mathematical way to determine bad #redistricting. now there’s no plausible deniability that they’re even trying to be fair
