I think this is probably the first time #elonmusk has come up against the power of workers over a company. in every other case he has been able to assert his will to keep them in line. but here he has a different workforce, the kind you hire management consultants to create. empowered and fiercely passionate. and his power play 5pm email spectacularly backfired.
