Weak conclusion:

"If you want to be an active part of the Fediverse, be prepared for the same problems as on any other social network. We decided to leave the Fediverse for now."

I took the time to read this & the May article.

The InfoSec Handbook says they didn't have the resources to maintain the community on Mastodon, and then many of their complaints were community based. The technical issues seem to come from trying to force expectations of the bird site onto Mastodon.

Just my 2 cents, but it was nice to get another perspective.
