Waiting in line to pick up my breakfast burrito. The local skater kids are high off their asses, giggling, and chatting with the cops who are also waiting. The red-eyed tourists are surreptitiously munching potato chips and watching the cops nervously.

I wonder how much paranoia comes from actually caring that people know you’re high?
