@Riedl Would you see this as a good reason to avoid being dependent on this particular service offered by Google for the future? I personally don't use it, probably difference in our requirements is that my homeworks do not require GPU. This is why I'd be curious to hear how this particular bad experience changes the balance of your assessment that leads to the choice of platform. My assumption is that local venv or containerised environment are potential alternatives
@mapto Unfortunately, I need students to have access to GPUs. I've experimented with other services but they are actually somehow worse.
