I see lengthy threads like this one, and so many people struggling with #Mastodon, and I have to wonder, is it the apps? I never used Twitter mobile app, nor do I use any Mastodon apps, but never have any problems with my three Mastodon accounts in the web interface. What is broken?

I saw a post yesterday, where someone's elderly mum was able to register and send out her 1st toot, by herself! Personally I'm mid 70s and I had no difficulty. It's mostly in their minds and lack of research in my opinion.
