I'm a little worried about the potential for a "memory hole" over time as various Mastodon instances shut down for lack of energy/funding/etc. There's no archival, or even a standard way for instance owners to offer archival on shutdown.
Is this something that orgs like the Internet Archive are looking into? Anyone able to point me in the right direction on who to work with to fix it?
