Theres a lot of americans complaining about the fact that more people have not left twitter.

Twitter is at most around 35% american, the rest of users come from the rest of the world and have no reason to be aware of US news or politics.

Just because your experience on the platform has gotten worse it doesn't mean the same is true for everyone.
