Living life as an autistic person and masking rather well appearing "high functioning" can be hard to explain to "normies".
How about: " it's like living life while constantly being in customer service mode."
Utterly exhausting.

For me it feels like I'm having to constantly emulate in software what most people do in hardware ... and of course the software is buggy.
