@lverner @steveperry Yes, that's correct: 60k characters per post, which of course is much larger than any post I'm likely to want to make. That was one of the features that drew me to it, along with Markdown support.
@simone__marini That's a *good* reason. 🙂
@jared @artemai , quite seriously, I'm glad people are working on this. I see a lot of potential in AI art generation for people like me who can see things in their mind's eye but have never been able to make it come out on canvas or screen. Meanwhile, though, I reserve the right to take the occasional cheap shot. 😀
@Jayjader Good point!
@simone__marini Yes?
@clementkent, it seems to be practically a law of nature that any special-purpose internet forum will inevitably get more general. You can have a site for talking about bioinformatics, literary criticism, local traffic reports, Ukrainian arms shipments ... whatever, and pretty soon everyone will be talking about their hobbies and posting pictures of their cats.
To be clear, I'm not really bothered by this. But I will try to talk about my work as well as nattering about whatever floats into my head. 🙂
@fatsam Deservedly, may I add.
@fatsam He really is a remarkable conversationalist for a dog, and at least as good at it as most humans.
@kimberlyblack I am a much-too-occasional science fiction writer.
@Vuju Musk stan pathetic.
@XtalDave and what he's loony enough to post but too cowardly to leave up.
