For fellow arrivals, @freemo (the amazing Qoto.org admin) shared a Domain Blocking List.

If you import this comma-separated values (CSV) file into your Mastodon account via the Preferences, that can help keep spammers and bad actors out of your timelines/feeds. I know some folks have complained about it.

Here's the Domains Blocked file in Google Sheets. You can go to File ->Download->CSV to get a copy of the domains blocked list.

Then, once you have it saved, import it via your Preferences -> Import->Domain Blocking List as shown in the screenshot.

@eduGOOGdroid Bookmarks work great! You can export them from the Mastodon Preferences Data Export screen. @freemo @edutooters

@mguhlin @freemo @edutooters this is a great list even for general use. Is it going to be updated frequently? If so how does #mastodon handle the import of already blocked domains?

@cjerrington don’t know about updates. As to import, you can set it to merge so it’s not overwriting what you already had.

@mguhlin what if this personal block list was hosted on #Codeberg and uodatedthere too?

@cjerrington I don't have any objections to that. Sounds like not a bad way to review domains that need to be blocked and ensure an updated list is available. For now, I have to trust in @freemo 's version since I wouldn't have even known to do this until he shared it in a post.
