@mur2501 @karin_artss there are what you might call "thin" applications, especially those that you download to your phone, which don't really do much unless they speak to a server, such as Facebook's servers, because that's where the data is. one would typically call a whole such application a "front-end" for the service. there are multiple levels here, bit like an onion... can get confusing.
@karin_artss @mur2501 this breed of Internet-reliant apps is relatively new and weren't very prominent prior to the invention of the smartphone, which is how we ended up with these somewhat overlapping naming schemes.

Smartphones have changed the whole technology scenario, especially cause they reach a very wide audience

I would suggest you dig in what's going on in the computer at the circuit level and some Assembly from above to understand the true power and difficulty of this beast of a machine.

@thor @mur2501 I tried to open my 3DS -> I ended up stripping the screw.

Just last month I tried to fix my joycons but I ended up stripping the screws again.

Nah man if I try to open my laptop I'm gonna get post-traumatic down syndrome

You don't really have to open your laptop to understand the hardware working of the computers
