i mean, i know which borough i'd prefer. i'd have to be pretty desperate to live in the northern boroughs. the area i currently live in is on the city limits and is, uh, a mix of dense forest, sterile architecture and transportation infrastructure. i'm not a big fan of it, really. i have lived there for 6 years but i never really liked it much. i always feel better when i go to Oslo proper.
your average Oslo city block consists of townhouses built around a yard. sometimes the yard is small with just entrances and trash containers, sometimes bigger with a green area or playground. in the downtown area, the yards are often used by bars and restaurants for outdoor seating, popular in the summertime.
